My heart so badly wants to cry aloud,
To tell you that I love you, clear and true;
Yet fear holds back the words inside the crowd,
As terrified to speak as I am blue.
In quiet dreams, I finally confessed,
And felt the sweet relief of your warm embrace;
I hoped perhaps in life that comes the best,
We might find truth in some another place.
Damn it, I almost let myself forget
There is no next-life script for us to write.
The crazy longing spins around me yet,
A foolish dream that shatters always bright.
