We never crossed a street or shared a passing glance,
Two usernames online, brought together by chance.
A weird late-night thread about the shape of the moon,
How time feels slower in the middle of June.
We talked about forgotten dreams and stars we’ll never see,
A bizarre, beautiful exchange between you and me.
No faces, no voices, just text on a screen
The deepest conversation with someone I’ve never seen.
Then vanished in the digital crowd beyond any count.
No name, no trace, no way to find you now,
Just a ghost in the server, lost somehow.
Now I bring up the strange things you typed in the dark
To friends in the canteen, waiting for a spark.
"Have you read A Walk to Remember?" I ask at coffee,
Hoping if I keep your words alive, you’re still real to me.
