It So happened - Part -7

So, the mad person had the book, he was saying the book's name "Operating systems". It was here that girl lost her book. I looked around, but was unable to find the mad person. I thought I need to say that girl, which her book is with this mad person, Somehow we can get the book from this mad person by talking to him coolly. At home, I had talk with my mother with this also, She said, you don’t go behind any mad person; just convey the message to that girl. If at all you want to help her take your brother with you. Don’t confront alone with the mad person. I said yeah thatz also true mom. I did some studying and then went for a sleep. My brother was always late for home. Mom waits for him to return late night; she serves food for him and then goes for sleep. Some days I never know when my brother did came, sometimes I doubt he came home also. Today also he was late.

Early morning, it was again a wake up call from my brother for a morning walk; I woke up and went with him. This time I didn't wanted to avoid going to park, since I wanted to talk with that girl and say that her library book was with that mad person. So, at park I was looking around in search of her. My brother asked, "whatz the matter sis? You seems like you are searching for someone? is your boy friend gonna come here today?" I said, "Oh yeah, He said he would be coming, hasn't come still i thought i shall introduce you to him." He acted as if he was shocked, he knew I was kidding, He added with my statement, "Oh really! thatz great sis, I shall inform this news to mom also as well" and he behaved as if he is gonna dial my mother's number. I said, "Hey Ranjan, was kidding, I am searching for that accident girl." He smiled and said, "Wow! To introduce me, you should have said me before itself I would have dressed up properly." I said, "Huh, Ranjan I didn't mean anything as such, I shall never leave that thing to happen, I doubt on you. The issue is..." I stated him the reason why I was waiting to meet her. 

My waiting for her went in vain. She didn't turn up. I thought I shall meet her at college itself. At college I was waiting for her, found her climbing the stairs, I raised my voice to talk with her, she moved as if she was least bothered or concerned to talk with me. She completely ignored me. My foot, I wanted to help her, she is such a head strong girl. Who the hell wants to help her, let she pay the fine. I went to my friends group, and said this situation bit exaggerating what happened, let she pay the fine, She deserves it. My voice was bit louder, since I was angry with her attitude. My other class mates started to stare at me.

Controlling my anger I kept silence. One of my friend said, "Cool yaar, its fine, it happens leave it, cool now, why should you be bothered about her? Right.. Cool.." I said yeah. Still my heart wasn't convinced with anything, was feeling bad and insulted. 

After two days, when I went to library again, was somewhat curious to know, whether she has paid the book fine or not yet? Still somewhat I wanted to help her. I wanted to ask the librarian, but she is always in bad temper, feels scared to talk with her, she would yell at me also, for no reason. So, then how to know, whether she has paid or not? Thinking that I moved towards the book rack, I was looking into the same name book "Operating Systems", was opening each book, for time pass, to get any idea, how to know whether she has paid the fine yet or not. Turning the pages of the book I saw at the end page of the book, something was written it says, "One who would make the difference". Suddenly I remembered it was the same words which the mad person took.

Same book, same words, looked at the number of the book with great surprise. Wasn't sure its same number, looks to be similar? Now, I desperately wanted to know, whether its the same book, which she lost? She gave back the book to library or paid the fine? Now after her last behavior wasn't interested to talk with her also. Then how? how to get to know about this?

I moved towards the reading section holding the same book in hand. Started to go through that book. I found some slip inside that book; it was small and seems to be attached to the book, that was the reason. I opened the slip and read the writings on it. It was a medical prescription, which was addressed to Sagarika. It was that accident girl's name. Oh, so its her book itself. So, she returned this book? but How?

It So Happened - Part 6

Way back to home at circle signal was desperately looking for someone; yeah I hope you guessed it was the mad person. Something i was very keen to know the story behind the numbers. I feel mad person says something great words, they have something meaning in their words. So was looking for him at the window, I found him talking with traffic policeman. He was holding something blue thing, which he wanted to show to the policeman. But policeman was least bothered at it. I was completely ignoring it. I was trying find out, what is that blue thing, it looked like a book. By then my bus moved.

Rest of the day went as usual. Early morning when my brother tries to wake me for morning walk, I was feeling so sleepy, and moreover am lazy too. I murmured in sleeping mood, that I want to sleep for still more time, he can carry on. Suddenly my mind thought about accident girl. I just woke and said "no no.. I am also coming for a walk with you wait.. Shall get ready in 10 mins." So had a refreshing walking, I avoided going to the park. Somehow doesn't want my brother to go to the park.

At college, as usual was early to college, was looking at around, saw breakfast guy with his friend, he was making fun of his friend, I was unable to hear his words from such far, but yeah I could make out by his expressions, Looking at the expressions even I started to smile. By then my friends came near me, they started to pull my legs, asking "why are smiling? What are you thinking? Now days you are smiling a lot?" Uff when any single person smiles that too alone, then they are sure to become the victim for teasing. Now, if I had said, the reason behind my smile was that breakfast guy, then my friends would have teased me more. So kept quite.

During lunch time, I went to library to get my books renewed. I was moving towards the librarian, for god grace yaar, that accident girl overtook me, charm I myself could have offered her to go before me; there is no need for her to overtake me. I just thought in heart and smiled. I just bent my head to look at the books I was carrying. In turn doesn't want my eyes to catch her beautiful face. Somewhat I felt, she is bit proud at her beauty. Even i started to ignore her and stood next to her to get my book renewed. She handed some books to librarian to renew. While the librarian was renewing the books, she said with her sweet voice, "Actually I had lost one book, do I need to pay fine for it". After hearing that words, damn librarian temper raised like anything she started to shout, "Then what do you think, you have just conveyed the message to me with your sweet voice and go? You need to pay double the cost of the book, don’t you have so much of responsibility, you careless girl, you carry books to college for fashion huh what??" A small smile appeared on my face, something i felt, you deserve it yaar, you can’t even smile at me, when I gave the throw ball is it.

The librarian voice was bit louder, almost all around started to stare at her. Even i turned towards her. She was bit confused what to say to the librarian. She looked so sweet, her pinky cheeks, lovely lips, I was so close to her that I just kept staring at her, admiring her beauty. I tried so much not to stare at her, this time I was unable to divert my concentration. I started to stare at her hair style, her facial features it was so beautiful. By then something flashed in mind, God stop staring yaar, hope she doesn't fall unconscious again.

Librarian continued her scolding’s "You need to pay the fine within one week of time. You careless girl, Remember to get the fine by one week, which was that book. You can get to know the fine amount at the account section of library check out with them." As all were staring at her, she felt bit embarrassed and her eyes filled with bit water. I was able to see it.

She collected the renewed books and moved towards the account section, that was other corner of the desk. I got my books also renewed, by then I heard the account person stating a number of 7 digits. I felt something as if I have heard/seen that numbers before. I was recollecting that numbers and headed towards my class. In the class, I was chit chatting, and i did hear to lecturers lecture also, to say true I hear but sometimes I wonder why I can’t hear anything and I understand zero. But today, I was able to get what the lecturer was saying. After completing my class I went back to my home. At way back to home, I was again searching for that mad person, and then I realized, the number which the librarian took was the same number the mad person took.

It So Happened - Part 5

Early morning, was getting ready for a walk with my younger brother. As we kept steps out, my mother said, "Make sure you will be back before 7:00 a.m, else you would be late for your college, Don't waste your time just roaming and looking around". I said, "Yes mom, I would make sure about it, But I am not sure about Ranjan, he might go behind any girl, looking at her". My brother and mother smiled. I said, "I wonder what does your both smile mean, that Ranjan, is sure to go behind any girl today? and you are ok with it mom? oh....I also doubt, I would skip sometimes for a walk, but Ranjan, goes everyday, does he goes for a walk to meet any girl? Hey Ranjan, is there anyone? if so say me dear, I shall not disturb you". My mother said, "Hey, don't play around, go and come back early". My brother was still blushing.

As we walked, I looked at my brother, he was still blushing, I asked, "Hey bro, is everything ok with you? Why are you blushing so much? Is anyone gonna meet you today?"
He said "Hey, nothing as such, your words made me to smile thatz it, So, howz your college going on? Heard, your batch would be having internals earlier this time, is that true?". I said, " Yeah, even I heard, not sure when it would be". Walking in the park, I was able to look at the lovely girl, I mean the accident girl. Yes, she had also been there for a walk. She wore nice morning walk dress, All dresses suits her. Again started to admire her beauty and I stood still for few moment. Ranjan waved his hands and said "hello sister!, are you looking at any guy over there? why did you stood there itself, come, come, else we would be late back to home".

I moved faster to cover up Ranjan, and said him, I was looking at one girl, with that statement, I started to explain, how beautiful she is? when I saw her first? I even said, she is from my college. I kept on saying and my brother concentration went to find her. I said, "Hey, she moved from here, you dont have to search her now ok?". Ranjan smiled again and said, "I just saw, the girl who impressed you so much, wanted to see, how she is?".
I said, "you dont worry brother, how ever good looking she is, She wont be yours for sure?". He asked with smiling face," why? is she already engaged?". I said, " No, I have no idea about it, I just mean to say that, she is elder to you. she is of my age, When she fell near me in the library, I saw her college tag, then got to know, she is in same batch of mine."
He said, "Oh ok, thatz it right." I asked, "Bro, what does it mean?, thatz it itself, but it makes a big difference, I would not let my brother to have an affair with any girl who is elder to him".

Answering for my words, he said, "Come on, its modern age now it has become normal case, even in ancient age, Rama married to Sita, who was elder to her. We have many such examples also now, Sachin Tendulkar, Abhishek Bachchan many more, and they are leading happy life.." I got bit angry, raised my voice and said, "They might have been changed for something, But I would not insists you too to walk same path, Will you also walk their path? Ranjan, will you?". My brother kept quite, he kept bigger steps. I said, "Ranjan, I didn't get answer for my question yet". He said, "Come on sis, letz change the topic. I feel you are becoming tense with that topic, we have come for a walk to make ourself healthy, not to break our health.", By then a small kid, our neighbor she ran towards us, and said, "Hello Sanji and Ranju! even I have come for a walk, Now I shall go and play swing in the park.", We both smiled at her, said bye, since it was already time, we moved towards our home.

In the college I got to know from notice board, that our internals are gonna start from next week, its just one week of time, Damn yaar, i hardly read daily, upon that they announce internals, with a gap of one week. Where is the time to prepare? making a sour face, i headed towards the other section of our college, we had practicals in different building, i have to cross the playground and reach to that building. While i was walking with not so good mood towards our practicals section. A throwball rolled near my leg, Heck yaar, I hate when ball comes near me, I dont play such games, upon that I need to throw the ball back, if I dont throw in right position, I feel so down, Whenever ball has come near me, I had avoided it. This time its impossible, am alone upon that ball is very near to me. I lifted the ball as if I am doing great favour to all in world. Looked at someone, whom I can throw the ball, I found the accident lovely girl, Oh, she even plays throwball, great all players do look good, I need to start playing such sports to look good funky. So, I was about to throw, she crossed the playground gate headed towards me to take the ball, I was very glad to give her. I smiled, she too smiled.

But she never said me thanks I was expecting it. She moved away. My mind left her in that place itself, after conversation with my brother early morning, I had no interest with her. I was late to practical class. The lecturer stared at me, as if he would burn me with the acid in the lab. I made move towards my friends and asked, how long it started? am I so late that THE MASTER has become so angry. They said, it wasn't so late, they too just entered now, and THE MASTER mood is off, because he got scoldings from HOD (Head of the Department) just now, for coming late always. We all started to giggle, He stared at us again and said, "Dont waste your time chit chatting. Can everyone come here and gather, I would give demonstration of experiment-11".

After the lab, I walked with group of friends around the campus. chit chatting and gossiping on some of our classmate, It was the turn of breakfast guy's, where we started to say about his hair style, someone said, he makes everyday one hair style, and spikes looks like he has come from zoo, I was laughing really, I never looked at it. Then they talked about another handsome, good looking guy, he seems to be in affair with one of our other classmate, she was also very good. we all said, wow...they seems to be made for each other yaar.
After all such gossips, chit chats, we had lunch in canteen. Then we all bunked the class, since we wanted to prepare for internals, how far we prepare, all are aware, We said yes, we need to, and all decided to bunk the class, and SMS was circulated so that each one of us gets to know about it.
